Artist of the Year

Oil Painter, Cornelia “Connie” Poulnot was awarded the ALHC 2011 “Artist of the Year” at this year’s annual Christmas Luncheon Dec.13th. Connie’s work, “Memories” was voted the best by the Art League of Henderson County members. Connie recently relocated from Charleston, SC and she is known there for that city’s historic and lovely street scenes.

New ALHC Board of Directors elected

The new ALHC board of directors was elected at our annual members meeting in November. Congratulations to our new board including our new president, Linda Hendricks. New Board members will join a committed group of volunteers already supporting this treasured community resource that has served Western North Carolina for more than 20 years.
